Description
Dollar Store Secret Santa, Secret Snowflake, and Secret Snowman Gift Exchange forms for visual learners in special education that have the opportunity to take an off campus trip with the class to practice shopping list skills and money math/transaction skills.
Directions:
Have students circle the things that they like.
Mix the papers and distribute someone else’s form to each student.
Take a community outing to the nearest dollar store to have students shop for the items on their secret santa’s wish list.
Set a $5-$10 limit; perfect opportunity for students to practice budgeting. Remind students they will also need to budget for purchasing wrapping paper or a gift bag and tax. (Maybe include a card!)
