Description
Community access & functional reading for special education students, autism, and English language learners. Unlike most community signs resources, this resource is geared towards students that may not drive, and instead travel around the community by walking, using public transportation, carpooling… and so on. A majority of signs included in this resource are road signs, but only those that would be important for non-drivers to know for safety and getting to and from places.

Ideas for use:
- Print, laminate, cut for long term use.
- Use clothes pins or a dry erase marker to mark the correct answer.
- Great for small group lessons, centers, early finishers, and work task bins
- Have discussions about each sign, where you would see it, why the sign informs people of it’s message.
