Description

Dollar over interactive activity boards with a grocery & department store, fast food and holiday theme for values between $5.00 – $10.00. Great for special education, visual learners, and touching money consumer math and counting. Interactive task cards, student will place dollar bills onto the board.

This comes with:

  • 32 price tagged/register items ($5-$10)
  • Version 1 board – # over the dollar bills (10 spots)
  • Version 2 board- $ over the dollar bills (10 spots)
  • Version 3 board- blank (10 spots)
  • Version 4 board- with visual dollar over line chart (10 spots)
  • Version 5 board- blank (5 spots)
  • Real Dollar and five dollar bill $ visuals
  • Print, laminate, cut, and velcro for long term use.
  • Student is to determine how many dollars they need to purchase the item using the next dollar up method (e.g. You need $8 to pay for an item that costs $7.95)
  • Great for small group lessons and work task bins.

This resource has been extremely beneficial. I teach students with moderate to severe disabilities who are on a certificate of completion for high school. This resource was helpful in establishing a routine for my students. Students remained engaged and enjoyed many of the activities. The consistency of the warm-ups allow for me to introduce students to working together appropriately and seeking help and support from peers not just teachers.
