An alternative for Community Based Instruction & work experience during distance learning, and for when you return to the classroom! This activity mimics working at the grocery store to help students work on several basic consumer money math, stocking, time management and other job skills before applying them in the community.

- 2 Levels of job skills scenarios, each scenario covers:
- WHAT TIME DO YOU HAVE WORK AT? Look at what time your work shift starts and how long it will take to get to work. Then calculate what time you should leave home. Drag and drop the clock to the wall with the time you should leave home.
- HELP THE CUSTOMER FIND THE CORRECT AISLE Drag and drop the hand/cursor to the correct aisle according to what the customer is looking for.
- STOCK THE SHELF Drag and drop the products onto the top, middle or bottom shelf according to what the clipboard says.
- GIVE THE CUSTOMER THEIR CHANGE Drag and drop the correct amount of cash and/or coins according to $ amount on the cash register. (US CURENCY)
- PLACE THE GROCERIES IN THE BAG Drag and drop the the items into the bag for the customer. Place heavier/studier items at the bottom of the bag, and lighter/fragile items at the top of the bag.
- PUT THE SHOPPING CARTS AWAY Find and sort the shopping carts throughout the parking lot and drag and drop them into the correct white areas inside the store.
- FILL OUT THE TIMESHEET Look at the calendar and clocks to see what day you will type the time you clocked in and clocked out for work.
