The end of the school year can be chaotic. You’ve had a long year, Spring Break wasn’t enough of a break, you’re exhausted, you have no energy to lesson plan anymore. To help you finish the year with a bang, I’ve compiled a list of a handful of summer-themed end-of-year resources. Each of these resources can be found here on my website shop, or on Teachers Pay Teachers (links will be provided below each photo).
Don’t wait until last minute, start prepping for your students’ graduation earlier in the school year! This is a simple story with the visuals and language you need to talk to students about an emotional event in their lives: GRADUATION! Graduating is a big event that leads to a huge change. The uncertainty of what happens during or after graduation can create anxiety and behaviors.
Help ease the uncertainty and prepare your students with direct social skills instruction that is beneficial to students with special needs. This book can be used before the event or read regularly in preparation of the big day.
