Description

A fun and easy educational game to practice functional vocabulary for life skills special education or English Language Learners to focus on everyday sight words.

 

teens | adults | independent living skills | financial literacy | age appropriate | United States currency

 

This comes with:

  • 4 coins & 6 bills vocabulary words
  • 40 game cards total (10 cards per game)
  • Money Names (eg. Penny, Quarter, One Dollar Bill)
  • Money Values (eg. $0.01, $0.25, $1.00)
  • Level 1 – Picture with Word for both I Have & Who Has.
  • Level 2- Word for I Have, and Picture with Word for Who Has
  • Visuals (to support students that need help matching a photo to the vocabulary word when read out loud)

 

How to play: The person with the starter card asks their “who has…” question. The student with the correct answer says “I have!” and then asks the “who has…” question that is on their card.

**Because there are alimited number of Vocabulary words, this is a shorter game (maximum 10 players).

 

Vocabulary featured: Penny, Nickel, Dime, Quarter, $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 Bills

This resource has been extremely beneficial. I teach students with moderate to severe disabilities who are on a certificate of completion for high school. This resource was helpful in establishing a routine for my students. Students remained engaged and enjoyed many of the activities. The consistency of the warm-ups allow for me to introduce students to working together appropriately and seeking help and support from peers not just teachers.
