Refund Policy
We like to have fun, but we take our business seriously. We’d appreciate your careful consideration of the service and products available on the site, and we advise you to make your purchases carefully. Please preview all photos & read through product descriptions before purchase. If you are unsure of if a resource/product is the right fit for your classroom/student, please feel free to reach out to get more details/description of the product to make an informed decision before purchase. All sales are considered final and nonrefundable once an order is submitted. We may, in our sole discretion, modify our Refund Policy or, on a case-by-case basis, issue a refund for a reason that falls outside of our Refund Policy below.
The resources you purchase on this website are delivered electronically. Unlike a t-shirt or a book, you can’t (really) return a PDF, Word Document, or other file after it’s been downloaded or accessed. For that reason, all sales on www.spedadulting.com of digital resources are considered final and nonrefundable.
We get though that things don’t always go as planned and so we can offer refunds in a few limited circumstances. If you’ve never downloaded or digitally accessed the resource, or if your purchase falls into one of the following exceptions listed below, you might be eligible for a refund.
Refund requests must be submitted within one month of your purchase to fiona@spedadulting.com, and are granted on a case-by-case basis.
- Compromised Resource File- A resource file is damaged or is missing content. You must reach out to fiona@spedadulting.com to troubleshoot the issue first (most of the time the issue can easily be fixed and you can receive your downloads).
Example: A thumbnail or preview is uploaded instead of the resource itself. - Misrepresentation- A resource preview and/or description misrepresents what is actually contained in the resource. (Requests are subject to Adulting Made Easy review.)
Example: A product description states there are 50 multiple choice questions in a resource but instead there are 50 true or false questions. - Technical Limitations— You are unable to access a resource because the technical requirements aren’t included in the resource description.
Example: A resource is a Boom Cards file but this is not listed anywhere on the product page. - Duplicate Purchase— You purchase the same resource twice in one account.
Example: You purchase a resource contained in a specific bundle and then later purchase that bundle within one year of the original purchase. - File Access Status— You purchased a resource but never downloaded or accessed the files. (Verified by Adulting Made Easy).
Example: You purchased a third grade resource over the summer (that you did not access) and find out you are teaching second grade next year.
If your purchase falls into one of these categories, you can submit a refund request to fiona@spedadulting.com. Please be sure to include in your request: the full resource name and your concerns, along with any specific examples or details you might have. Screenshots welcome!
You may be eligible for an exchange:
- Accidental Wrong Format Purchase— You purchase a resource for the wrong format on accident.
Example: You purchase a Boom Cards resource but you mean’t to purchase the Google Slides version of that resource. (If this request occurs more than once or with a larger bundle – refunds are subject to Adulting Made Easy’s discretion.)
FAQ:
- “I purchased a resource at full price yesterday but noticed there is a SALE today” or “I missed the SALE…” –
It is always disappointing to miss a sale. While we don’t always know when anyone will be in a position to purchase something, we work hard to make sure that the products we put forth will be worth far more than what we charge, even for those who pay full price. Sales are special and they don’t happen too often on here, so when a sale occurs, the discount given is limited in time and on specific dates. For this reason, a discount/credit/or refund will not be given on purchases made on full-priced items that go on sale.
- “I am interested in or want to purchase a GROWING BUNDLE, but I am not going to use all of the activities in the bundle, can you give me a credit for those activities?”-
Although you might not use activities that are in different currencies or the level is too easy/hard, there are no substitutions any sets you do not intend to use – bundle prices have been significantly discounted to account for this and the special part of a growing bundle that you will receive every new upload (specified part of that growing bundle eg. task cards) for free. Please see each bundle listing for additional details.
